Arrive at Imi Oughlad (1450m), your trekking starting point, surrounded by the towering peaks of Mount Toubkal (4167m), Aglzim (3650m), and Aksoual (3887m).
Meet your local Berber mule team and begin a gentle 2-hour acclimatization hike along beautiful mule paths through pine and juniper forests to reach the Tizi Ntacht Pass (2000m). Enjoy a panoramic view of the Imlil and Ait Oussaden valleys before continuing to Imi N’ifri for a picnic lunch.
Later, descend along a scenic dirt trail for about 2.5 hours to reach Tiziane Village (1750m), where you’ll enjoy a warm Berber dinner and overnight stay in a local guesthouse or gite.
After breakfast, follow the Ait Oussaden Valley through lush walnut groves toward the Tizi N’Taghrhourte Pass (1995m). Enjoy the peaceful scenery before stopping for lunch near the Assaka spring surrounded by stunning mountain views.
Continue your afternoon hike down through forested trails until reaching the traditional Berber village of D’knt (1870m), where you’ll spend the night in a local gite or tented camp, enjoying authentic Moroccan hospitality.
Today’s hike takes you through terraced fields of barley and walnut groves as you ascend toward the Tizi N’Tagdalte Pass (2600m). Along the way, you’ll pass shepherds, farmers, and locals carrying traditional bundles — a glimpse into daily Berber mountain life.
After crossing the pass, descend through juniper forests and stop for a relaxing picnic near a mountain spring. Continue down scenic trails to Tizi Oussem (1850m), a picturesque Berber village nestled in the Azzaden Valley, where you’ll have dinner and stay overnight.
After breakfast, hike up to visit the Azib Tamsoulte waterfalls, then climb to the Tizi Mzik Pass (2479m) with stunning views over the Imlil Valley. Descend toward Aroumd village (1900m) for lunch before returning to Imlil, where your driver awaits to take you back to Marrakech.
