Day two is the most challenging day of the trek, gaining significant altitude as you ascend to Aguelzim Pass (3650m). The climb is gradual but rewarding, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Atlas peaks and the Toubkal Summit in the distance.
After admiring the vistas, descend toward Toubkal Refuge (3207m), your overnight stop near the base of North Africa’s highest mountain.
Walking time: 6–6.5 hours.
